Sex is a many splendrous thing. If people want to kiss, hook up, fuck etc let them. If it’s at a hardcore show who cares? People can get down where ever they want to get down. I don’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.

We should embrace our sexuality. It’s part of human nature and we should celebrate it because in doing so we are celebrating ourselves. I’m not saying to go out and sleep with EVERYONE (But hey, even if you do, good for you. It’s your life.), I’m saying: do your thing, have fun but be safe! You only live once.

I am happy that after Trial’s set at Rainfest on Friday I didn’t experience the sexual harassment some women did by members of Rotting Out and Xibalba (is that how it’s spelled? Who cares). i didn’t hear about the sexual harassment until yesterday, when i was already home. it really, really bums me out. i kind of wish i had seen it because i definitely would have said something to those guys, even though they’d probably just laugh in my face and call me the “p”-word and the other “f”-word that isn’t “fuck”. some of the people i’ve talked to about this, and some posts i have read online, are writing it off like it’s not a big deal and that “it’s rotting out, what do you expect?” well i, and many others, expect people to be respectful to each other, the promoters of the fest, and the venue. what happened was problematic on many levels. what if one or more of the girls had been sexually assaulted in the past, and this was a triggering experience for her? what if one or more of the girls felt threatened and got her parents and/or the police involved? if you are sexist, racist, and/or homophobic, you need an attitude adjustment. educate yourself. otherwise, get the fuck out of hardcore and punk.

If you weren’t there first hand to see what ACTUALLY went down shut the fuck up. You don’t know anything. People love to talk shit and people love to get involved. Your basing your opinion on exaggerated facts and whole lies. This stops now.
