To be honest, I know NOTHING of the Beatles. My parents are from Romania and never ever listened to “rock” music. I was raised on gypsy violin and Romanian folk music. It was only until I started dating my ex boyfriend when I was 17 that I actually heard them and was pretty blown away.

Although John Lennon seemed to be high out of his mind all the time, he appeared to have this essence about him that just made you want to know more and more. Everyday I wonder how different, and possibly more beautiful, the world would be if he was still around.

But he’s not, so maybe we should take it into our own hands to try to be as more inspiring as he was?

Why are girls so weird?

I mean, it seems like every girl I know says one thing and means another, and then gets pissed at me because I have no idea what they mean.

No we’re just weird and sometimes overly sensitive. We get upset when you have no idea what we mean because sometimes we build up these realistically impossible expectations of guys in our minds due to Hollywood films infiltrating our then tween minds.

I know I do this alllllllll the time and I have to remind myself over and over that stuff like that is not really real, no matter how in love a dude may be with a girl.

When I was younger I had a lot of trust issues and would be extremely ambiguous and never tell anyone  exactly what I meant because I was either too shy about it or just didn’t trust them. When I was 17 and engaged myself into my first serious relationship I realized this whole ambiguity bit could no longer fly because it was causing problems in between my boyfriend and I.

As soon as I dropped the school girl bullshit and was straight forward and honest about how I felt about everything and what I wanted, things started to get better. However, I was only able to start being “real” with him because I trusted him.

Point of that story is, have you ever considered that it may not be entirely the girls faults, but could be yours as well? What are you doing to win their trust and keep them from beating around the bush?

I defintely felt confused, cheated, and a little bit empty/rattled after seeing the season finale of dexter. Would the trinity killer really just not give -any- reference at all to the fact he’s just killed rita while sitting on dexter’s table? Maybe he did and I have to go back and watch it, like some 6th Sense shit.

I guess up till now the writer’s have actually been able to keep things pretty light and airy considering it’s a show about a serial killer - he’s (sort of) a good guy, so we relate, we’re so used to him killing that we can find moments of humor in it. John lithgow’s short stint on the show has definitely upped the level of fucked, however.

Apparently dexter is a show where children -can- be buried in cement and wives of the main character -can- be murdered unexpectedly. Let’s also not forget the whole mind-fuck aspect of Dexter forming a lasting -relationship- with trinity. I think we’re all disgusted when we come across older people who’re potential mirrors of the horrible versions of ourselves we’re striving not to become.

Truth be told - part of the reason I’m so mixed up is because, while I wanted to see Dexter grow to be a person, - I don’t think I really wanted to see things work out between him and Rita. Now I almost feel guilty.

Lastly, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of a movie called “The Lovely Bones” (http://www.lovelybones.com/#video), and repeatedly watching the creepy yet beautiful trailer has definitely put me in a more “open” emotional state regarding fictional murder than normal.


Although it would kind of ruin the plot I’m hoping what happened with Rita was just a dream. It hit me too hard.

Probably 5’11. It varies. I’m extremely attracted to one of my friends and he’s 5’7”.

Because I’m a hustler, homie. But really, E-Van is the cheapest place to live in all of Vancouver. Plus I live in the ‘hood so it’s all good. I do alright though, to live comfortably. I manage my money well.

Take pictures, draw, splash in the ocean, or walk through the forest on top of logs and dead stumps. Come home and call my best friend while I cook dinner or put on either Arrested Development/The Office/It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia/3o Rock, munch my yummy food shower, read and fall asleep and dream dream dream.

With a boyfriend?

Wake up together, morning cuddles and sexy times, shower together, cook breakfast together, get dressed, go on an adventure together. Probably finding an abandoned house or barn on the country side or a grave yard somewhere, then get gelato. If it’s fall/winter, drive to the mountain and watch the sunset and munch on food I had packed while he got dressed, or if it’s spring summer, go home cook dinner and climb on my roof and watch the sun set. Skinny tall white boys in glasses who read Vonnegut and dig drone metal and Pavement; yes or no, and why?

I’m not usually a fan of skinny or white, but I like tall, a lot. But I like the Vonnegut and drone metal. The drone metal leads me to believe you’re really good at math, and I could use some help with my accounting classes.

But you asked why, so here’s my answer: I look it, but I’m not white. All my life I have been surrounded by men in my family who look either very eastern european, jewish, or middle eastern. Basically ethinically dark Romanian men - Thick dark hair and eye brows, dark eyelashes, big noses, well built and hairy. It’s just what I have been into my whole life, so I can’t really get down with white dudes, unless they dress reaaaaaaaally really well.

And I’m not comfortable with skinny because, well, I’m not skinny. I may be 120 lbs but I’ve got a little meat to me. Thick thighs and a round bum. I would feel extremely uncomfortable if I was laying in bed next to a guy who’s ribs popped out more than mine.

How many guys have sent you letters of infatuation, love, or even marriage proposals through here? How do they make you feel? Why do you post them? How might a guy wanting to get your attention stand out, aside from being straight awesomeness?

I’m not sure how many to be honest. I have never counted or kept track. I think it would be extremely venial if I did in the first place anyway. It makes me feel nice, but not happy. They are just superficial words and I’m positive they are sent in a joking flirtatious manner therefore I can’t take them seriously.
I post them because if someone sends me something, they obviously want a reply, so why not give it to them? That is unless they’re looking to bicker. I’d rather much stay away from the dramatics all together.

Really though, I’m a sweet gal and very fun to converse with yet myself (and a lot of my other female friends) never get approached in public by that cute guy I have been eyeing. Yet, I’ll get a friend request from him a couple of days later. It’s silly. I want to get back to the real world to meet people, not the Internet.

Or, if the weather does not permit a suit and dancing, flowers would still be welcomed (I say flowers because I’ve never ever gotten flowers from a guy), come over and I’ll cook dinner and bake a pie and just talk to me about anything and everything.

There is nothing more that I would love in life than to have a partner whom I can stay up all day and night talking to. Communication is one of the most essential parts in any relationship. It bases trust and respect and love, and if you don’t have either of those, well, you don’t really have a relationship.

Thank you! I think we all have our little quirks and kinks, some more than others and I am definitely grouped in the “some more than others” category.

Although I think Cumming is underrated, I am more versed in Whitman, so I’m going to have to stick to what I know and say Whitman!

I fluxuate between 119-122 lbs. I’m trying to get down to 108 lbs though, but still remain curvy.
